About
Hi, my name is Victoria L. Becker!
I recently graduated summa cum laude from Texas Christian University, where I studied Strategic Communication, Spanish, and Writing. I'm a follower of Jesus, a big fan of coffee shops and long runs, and an Enneagram 2 wing 1. I grew up near Denver, Colorado, I attended college in Fort Worth, Texas, and I'm excited to start my next adventure in Dallas, Texas in May 2021.

Here's what you need to know about me: I'm passionate about stories.

I love storytelling because it encapsulates my favorite parts of being alive: people and words. I'm fascinated by the triumphs and trials of the human experience. I believe every person has a God-given purpose and a story worth sharing, and I'm fascinated by the challenge of telling stories impactfully.

My favorite stories are the ones that are full of vulnerability, victory, heartbreak, and healing. This is exactly the kind of story I tell in my self-published memoir, A Way in the Wilderness: A Journey from Depression and Isolation to Progress and Peace. You can learn more about my book here.
I'd like to tell stories professionally, too. I'm interested in content creation, copywriting, and public relations jobs in the publishing, media, and advertising industries. I'd also love to work in ministry and my ultimate goal is to be an author full time.

Since you've made it this far in my bio, here are some fun facts about me. I love tulips, spin classes, sunrises, Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee, twinkle lights, Labrador Retrievers, and the beach. I believe wholeheartedly in the power of words, and I’m glad you found mine.
